At first glance, we may seem in the middle of nowhere. Which is not necessarily bad, as nature’s song is clearer when away from the hubbub of busier areas. The Messner Mountain Museum, the brainchild of famous mountaineer Reinhold Messner, is perched atop the Plan de Corones. And San Vigilio di Marebbe, Passo Furcia, Brunico and its high street, as well as plenty of valleys and other mountains waiting to be explored, can be found in the near vicinity.
